One of the things that makes Desert Color special is seeing residents embrace the lifestyle the community was designed to create. Whether it’s an early morning walk, an evening bike ride, a day at the lagoon, or gathering with friends and neighbors, Desert Color continues to be a place where everyday moments become memorable experiences.
🚴 Coming Soon: Desert Color Trail Park
Outdoor recreation is about to get even better at Desert Color. Plans have been announced for a new trail park featuring approximately six miles of mountain bike trails designed for beginner and intermediate riders, along with dedicated parking and event space for community gatherings and recreational activities.
Located north of State Route 7 and west of River Road, the new park is being developed through a partnership between Washington County, Greater Zion, Desert Color, and the Utah Trust Lands Administration and is expected to open in Fall 2026. Once complete, the trail park will provide another opportunity for residents to get outdoors, stay active, and enjoy the lifestyle that makes Desert Color such a unique place to call home.
This will be a public community amenity, and we are fortunate to have it right in our Desert Color backyard. Trail routes are currently being finalized, and we hope to provide maps and directional signage for Desert Color residents in our next community update, or sooner through a special announcement. Whether you’re looking for a new place to ride, explore, or connect with friends and family outdoors, this exciting addition further reinforces Desert Color’s vision of recreation, adventure, and active living right outside your front door.
🏊 Summer at Emerald Point
With summer in full swing, Emerald Point has quickly become a favorite place for residents to relax, connect, and spend time outdoors. Families are making memories at the pool, neighbors are gathering under shaded seating areas, and the park continues to provide another great space to enjoy the Desert Color lifestyle.
The energy and activity throughout the amenity reflect what makes this community unique: exceptional recreation opportunities paired with genuine neighborhood connections.
