Desert Color prides itself on being a highly amenitized community that offers residents and guests never before seen amenities and access to all the beauty of St. George. We are excited to announce that we have recently opened a new trail network conducive to hiking and biking on the north side of Southern Parkway. This addition will bring our trail network to over 7 miles of multi-use trails throughout the community.

This new trail network can be accessed from the underpass to the east of the roundabout at Lagoon Parkway and Desert Color Parkway. The three trails that have recently been cut in, mapped, and signed are singletrack in nature and highlight the current beauty of the desert as you wind around mesas and hills.

Each of the three trails (Desert Ridge Dash, Sandstone Summit, and Red Mesa Rush) vary in difficulty but are all approximately a half mile in length. You can also do one big loop (Sunburst Singletrack) which would be approximately one and a quarter mile. We hope you take the chance to try out these new trails and explore more of what Desert Color offers. We will keep you posted on the next trail system expansion as we grow in environmentally, socially and fiscally sustainable ways.
