Desert Color Welcomes New Leader, Mitch Dansie

In October of 2018, Desert Color–a 3,400 acre master planned community located on SITLA land east of I-15 and Southern Parkway in St. George, Utah–received approval for its zone plan, master development agreement, and preliminary plat. The St. George City Council unanimously approved the measures which have been nearly two years in the making.

As Desert Color begins a new chapter of development and execution, the Desert Color team is pleased to announce that Mitch Dansie has joined the team as General Manager of the master plan project. With this change, Brook Cole will assist Desert Color in an advisory role and will be responsible for all other external projects related to Clyde Properties.

Born and raised in Herriman, Utah, Mitch and his wife, Amy, have been raising their four children in South Jordan, Utah. They are excited to relocate back to beautiful St. George and get involved with the community in as many ways as possible. He is eager to be a part of Desert Color and to help in creating a sustainable anchor development in Southern Utah.

Mitch is an accomplished and proven finance and operations executive with over 15 years of International experience in project management and oversight. He has an extensive background in risk management, process improvement and change management. Most recently,  Mitch has enjoyed leading and developing 400 acres of family farm property in Herriman, Utah. Mitch has a BA in Finance from the University of Utah and was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and Co.

The Dansie family enjoys immersing themselves into their passions whether it’s competitive baseball, golf or dance. Mitch is an avid golfer and enjoys wakeboarding and hiking with the family in the big playground we call Utah.

Please join us in welcoming Mitch to the Desert Color team.
