Residents will soon see construction activity related to the SR-7 Regional Trail as it moves through the Desert Color community, with staging near the Pizza Hut and Swig commercial area.

Once complete, the trail will enhance connectivity for walking and biking, including a new bridge over Desert Color Parkway, a tunnel beneath the SR-7 off-ramp, and connections to existing trails and mountain bike paths.

Construction is expected to take approximately six months. During this time, residents should plan for temporary impacts such as detours, traffic changes, and occasional road disruptions. Updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
